It depends on a couple things:

What race is your shaman?
Do you know anyone that has an Ornate Velium Pendant?

Some race/class combos are only 9 turn ins and an OVP click away from a hammer.

It's not worth it to do 124 turn ins for sure.

I'm level 36 so I have no clue how much this would boost my faction.

Bards can just charm the foreman for their hammer, no faction required.

For my troll shaman and human monk I just hunted OT starting in the 30s and got the faction while leveling. 2 birds one stone and the quest xp was good. I finished the hammer faction for both long before I out-leveled the zone

If you’re already at the point that you can’t level on the mobs ... well I’d rather castrate myself with a spoon than farm greens for faction. You could earn the 2k for the price several times over faster.

This wont work, you need amiable for turn-in. Skeleton illusion will only take you to dubious if you're a goodly race.

Just spend the 2k, its not worth the hassle.

Worth it for me at L37, easy peasy camping the 2 spawns close to the
Outpost. I was L41 when I finished (troll shaman). At L51 you can make 2kpp in a handful of hours soloing trash for exp, so not worth hunting braids then.

That is good to know! He is level 50 though, so I guess I'll need to wait a few more levels unless he is able to be charmed at 36.
