Are you sure it wasn't for the Druid epic? I spent 16+ hours on that camp, which I'll agree is one of the truly terrible camps in the game, at least potentially (it was worse for me than any VP key piece, worse than the Goblin Ghazugi Ring, etc.).

But in that time I saw at least five of the Cleric epic guy (Lord Bergurgle), so I'd be kind of amazed if you could clear for even 16 hours (let alone 22), and not get a single Berg.

I'm on hiatus playing something else with my girlfriend, but I was actively farming the ring when I left. I'm at over 100 courier kills without a drop in this stretch. Total time is about 40 hours or so of constant killing the doublespawn.

Goblin ring is brutal sometimes.
