Now that I have meditate I spend much less time sitting down but its still kind of boring. I was thinking about playing some type of Tank or a Bard to be a little more active. I like the idea of Shadow Knight being a Tank and effective against undead.
Bard is the busiest class. If you want self-induced carpal tunnel....go for it.

Well, Shaman aren't for everyone, so you should totally go with whatever class most appeals to you.

But I will say that a Shaman's life is all about reducing the amount of time you spend meditating. It begins when you get your first Cannibalize spell, and ends when you hit 60, get Torpor and Cannibalize IV, and then you pretty much never need to meditate ever again.

There are basically 4 classes that are play intensive in EQ : Shaman, Ench, Necro and Bard. If played properly you're basically smooching buttons constantly. I do'nt think you can get that much activity from any other class unless you're a pulling madman.

Keep in mind that you are playing EQ. Its a slow paced game which allows from social interactions. The game is like this [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I think I will probably stick with Shaman since I can see it being much more active with Meditate finally becoming good and once I get Canni.

I think I want to try out some type of melee class as well to see how much I like it. Don't know if it will be any fun since I won't be twinked!
