Also we tuned resists a bit, so far, it looks good enough to consider resolved. Post in the bug forum with feedback, just stick to the facts.

Default Spell files

Hey guys, I'm not very computer savy. Where do I put the spell files I just downloaded from this site so I can start playing on the server?

extract the eqchanges zip file to your everquest install directory.

I installed mine to.. C:/Program Files/Everquest

You most likely have a different path.

One question ... Eye of Zomms now aggroing - is that correct!?

I very distinctly remember a guildee of mine often using his Eye to scout Temple of Veeshan.

This was Velious, obviously, so maybe that changes. just curious.

Absolutely correct.

I played a coth mage in Velious. With 'good' faction, I could send my eye to invite for coths. <--(one reason eyes need to be kos) This is probably what you remember if it was towards ntov and wasn't possible past aaronyar's pit, because the eye cannot jump.

Anyways, eye has a thread here: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=30553

You could scout even while being KoS with the eye because for a very very long time there was a bug: When you casted your eye while standing directly in front of a wall so that the eye would spawn inside the wall it spawned instead in a random spot in the zone. So you faced the wall and kept spamming the eye until it spawned where you needed it. I remember having a look with the eye in ntov way before my guild was able to raid there at all just out of curiosity.
