Yeah, I guess as long as you have sneak and/or can bank in OT. HS is on VS faction, so killing there will make you kos in OT.

Shaman can't have sneak, but we do have invis, and between that and clever use of SHIFT + T to angle things you can use the OT bank even while KOS ...

... you just have to keep an eye out for the patrolling guard, and keep SoW up in case you need to flee for your life. Personally I prefer not to do it because the pather is annoying, but I've done it a few times in the past.

I never move my bind from my starting city, because corpse runs are classic as is rage-quitting at the prospect of a long corpse run.

For a character *with* the ability to Gate (I'm a 55 shammy), I've been wondering where the ideal bind spot is for leveling.

My current thought is Sebilis Ent. Why? Seb is the most annoying to get to of all the popular high-end PuG dungeons -- HS you can hammer, Velks you can Thurg Gate, KC you can run direct from DL spires. The only downside to binding at Seb is it might be tough to get a quick port out for raids... but there seem to be enough people in Seb that getting a port isn't impossible. Or worst case just hammer and get a ride from HH.

For a while I was bound in WC, which was convenient in some respects, but it was hard to muster the will to get a port and run over to Seb just to find a PuG. If I was just bound in Seb, I think I'd group more often.

I welcome all thoughts to the contrary!

for Kunark, KC is the best because, its central, it covers KC and you can always ask for an Evac from there to EJ if you want to get to SEB

buuuut with velious, CS is also a great place to bind because you have access to skyshrine, keal, SG within walking distance, and there is a portal there that you can use for taxi services.

I cant remember if you can go to EJ fom SG?

The "only can evac from dungeons" thing went away awhile ago. You can go to EJ from Halas if you want.
