It's nothing personal swish. Red pop is so low right now, it's not worth keeping alive. Surely you can agree with me on that point?

I'd be down for a wipe, lock it at vanilla (max level 50), add item loot and you'd see a lot of old players come back. Velious really hasn't done red any favors, but then neither did messing with the old XP bonus when red had 275 and rising (Red Dawn era) - the intervention there busted the pop back down to 70 or so a few years back.

Yes the pop is low and it's hard to energize any low pop emu server (EQ, WoW, anything else).

Can't kill red off outright though, reinvent the wheel maybe...I know a fresh server would have people interested.

Many people besides me have been talking about a wipe or modification to Red for years. I hopeful that something will come of this now as the pop is so low.

we have some real bad eggs on Blue as well. The difference is the ones on Red tend to be a little more vocal.

But instead of using red as a singular tool of imprisonment for the lowest of our gaming community. Id prefer that a majority get some enjoyment out of it.

How about using red like Alcatraz? There will be lifers, for sure, willing participants, raid rules violators for a period or permanently, and so on.
