Just go straight to GoD and see what you can do.

What about skipping to House of Thule and working backwards?

No!
PoK Books is the same like Luclin Bazar.

Great ideas to make the game more comfortable but:

It destroyed a lot of the interaction with people and that is a major point in EQ gameplay.

I enjoyed those features as well but they did bad things to classic EQ.

LDoN and LoY were great
Not talking about rules and features, just the designs were great and were lots of fun to explore.

I remember one that was something like a huuuge ship, or sunken ship with pirates/undead pirates (LoY).
Can't remember the name of the zone but it was very much fun to explore

I much prefer Luclin to the other expansions. Selling wares in EC is not fun, the bazaar made it where anyone can sell. You'd wake up with Plat..

Next step mercs

Trying to LFG is not fun, the mercs made it where anyone can group and get xp. You didn't have to wait or talk.

"I am a working adult, my time is limited and valuable. Devs please listen and respond to this request. Put mercs in so I can catch up with guildmate/friends levels, please!, I want to raid and do content but these levels are killing me. You already put the bazaar in and you see what a success it has been despite years and years of people here saying its trash, I leave my sale bot on while I am sleeping or at work and the community benefits from my wares if they have coin."

I always thought the mercs were ridiculous, I think they were a bit overkill and also that POK and the POK books may made porting classes useless; that said, bazaar is the best addition that they did. If there were a way to make bazaar activities the same, but in e.c., it would be nice. That way, Nexus and the spires wouldn't activate But I honestly thought that was really cool too.
