Imo, yes Dino. Dirk is a little more agro and worse on damage shields, but it's the same damage... .555 on dirk vs .560 on EoN. Seb dirks are probably my favorite weapon in game. The best value for your plat.

Even worse, in an assling's hand, it clips through the ground. The dang spear is like three times my size.

Right. The absolute best offhand in Kunark was the Razor Sharp Short Sword's .615 ratio, so with 40k you're jumping up to almost the same quality weapon as last expansion's top of the line gear without spending months on a key quest. 12 20 is really nice.
