I love enchanter and their power, but I wasn't surprised by it. By the time i had hit HHK goblins on Filbus and Stembolt showed me about charming Osargen, I knew exactly how strong ENC would be.

Haha, we passed Osargen from chanter to chanter for about 24 hours back in 2014. Had him decked out in full bronze armor. I think he got killed finally when I picked him back up after a 10 hour break. Fun times!!
Back to OPs question....I say enchanter. So much so that I now have two, 60 and 41.

On Live I loved my SK so much I played it from 1999 up until I quit like 2007 and as a class it sucked for at least half that time. But I friggen loved it, even if it got no love from Verant.

Necro for sure. Was always under the impression on live that they were strictly for soloing and worthless in groups. Charm is incredible dps paired with augmentation of death. With a slower a necro with shadowbond can heal quite well. Feign, single target mez, invulnerability. Just a outstanding all around class.

Necros are so powerful. I played one to level 12 completely naked and was actually turned off by how powerful they were. too many ways to shrek.

Originally rolled Shaman but became disillusioned after the epic tear went out of reach of the average person (right after I started and grinded out True Spirit to max ally, GDI). Combined with the brutal grind for Torpor/Fungi/etc; didn't want to reroll at 45 from Troll to Ogre after figuring out FSI was so valuable so I rolled alts. He's still geared with a JBB and gobbo earring but I can't bear to sell his crap. I have all classes at least 46 except Enchanter, Bard, and Wizard.

But by far the most enjoyable was Necromancer. the class was brutal 1-12, below average 13-33 then above average 34-43. But once you hit 44 with some actual good DOTs, good pet, Lich, Roots/fears/snares, harmshield, shitty mez, FD to split... the power curve goes up and up past Splurt with no downtime. The party only stopped once summoning mobs and tons of casters came into play. Just needed COS and Jboots to reset GCD and it all came together prior to that it was mostly statless gossamer until 49. Self-sufficient down to corpse summon and res. AFK wherever I want, brings in money. Only thing that bothers me is summoning mobs and having to micromanage pet to do under ~49% damage pre-60 (I hate charming).
