Since you're dual wielding epics already, I don't suggest spending for Frostbringer or WESS. You might want to keep a WESS in your bag, in cases where you desperately need to maximize aggro.
Leveling up in my 50s, any time I was grouped with a higher level warrior wielding epics with superior haste (happened about 4x) could not hold aggro off my lower level and 24% warrior using FB/WESS. Once I got Infestation, the aggro gap was even more noticeable. Sorry, but I completely disagree. A reasonably geared warrior has only one huge challenge 24/7 ... threat generation. In the modern era, a warrior dual wielding epics is a warrior generating comparatively poor threat.

I'm now 60. Aggro is a cinch with Infestation primary and FB/WESS offhand. In the groups where i have a raid geared monk/rogue/ranger who actually challenges my threat potential, I shudder at the thought of trying to do my job with dual epics. Red epic is *decent* by modern standards for primary hand ... but I wouldn't consider using the blue blade unless I was using a non-threat weapon primary with the only goal of dps in mind. Red plus any of the following is ok, but you'd still hold aggro better by not using it

At ~300 threat per poison counter, infestation makes approximately double threat per red epic proc + a bonus for the low delay (18).

WESS has an inferior ratio but has 4 poison counter + debuff + blind per proc.

FB mainhand has a better ratio and a comparable aggro proc compared with red epic.

Blue epic has no threat proc and is thus just a pretty/flashy toy that situationally is useful in that it boosts your attack.

I remember consulting my pal Sakuragi many moons ago, and even in Kunark, I think he tested and proved that the red and blue blade together only generate slightly better agro than a sarnak warhammer and a silken whip of ensaring. That being said, however, I don't regret buying the green dragon scales I needed for my epic even if it broke my bank account. I've always wanted the warrior epic since I first played the game back in 2000.

You're right though, Botbde, or something such as infestation with a poison process is going to be a much better weapon for generating agro.

I know you mentioned that you're talking about purchasable items, but 40k isn't going to do a ton for you relative to easily attainable no drop stuff that should come easily once guilded.

Join a guild that does HoT a lot. Higher end guilds don't even bother with dkp bidding in there. If you can get HoT gauntlets, arms, legs, and maybe a BP you will be making some major gear upgrades off the bat and with a guild thats in there a lot it should happen pretty quickly.

Vindi drops great boots and obviously the BP. Neither are too contested because he is an 8 hour spawn and most guilds have members saving their dkp for the more rare raiding items. If you join a guild that kills a few vindis each week you could have enough dkp to win both items almost as soon as you turn full member.

Kael armor has been suggested which is all well and good, but if you join a guild that does HoT its not worth wasting your money on the kael pieces, with the exception of the helm which is actually better than the HoT helm by some measures.

Your red blade and EoE will go far. I'm nearly BiS and still use both.

Get a 7/6 neck from one of the dragons in the WW ToV scar. They are easily 1 groupable and if you join a guild, people are almost always willing to go kill a few if they are up.

A peerless dragonwing mantle (shoulders) is about 20k and has 55hp on it.

A bloodruned girdle (waist) is closer to 15k and has 40hp on it.

The problem with WESS and FB is they don't have HP. Red is the best warrior primary in the game. Blue is the best dps secondary in the game.
Thank you for saying what really needs to be said.
