A lot of it has to do with the Trade Deficits between Antonica and Kunark, Kunark is producing a lot more raw goods then Antonica. While there is more money flowing and valuable goods in Antonica overall, it is largely subsisting off of imports. It would in theory add inflation to the PP, which in some cases it would, but according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index), the overall cost of goods and services is seeing a deflation. Many think this is because of the way the PP is rigged, and confidence is high for consumer goods and services.
The real problem is that back around late 2000 the labor which kept Antonica financially stable and producing raw goods for the East Commonlands was essentially outsourced to Kunark. The EC market traders realized they could get not only a higher price for goods out of Kunark, but for half the cost. Why pay someone from Antonica to travel BOTH ways to sell back in EC, when they could just get an Iksar to farm the goods and it would only cost half the price since they only need to go from Kunark to Antonica, not back and forth ? Of course while things APPEAR to be better in Antonica for the PP and price of goods and services, it's all smoke and mirrors and it's only a matter of time until the confidence falls and Gold takes the reins as the historical and practical means of holding your wealth. In short, BUY GOLD NOW !

I thought we cleared it up a while back - EQ is not supply and demand, and you're an idiot if you think so. There was no further explanation.

EQ is most definitely supply and demand let me break it down for you. Say you are Joe Q. Nobody driving across the United States from California to New York and when you are in Kansas you realized that you left your briefcase at your house so you have to go all the way back but when you are in Colorado you blow a tire and that takes a while to fix and its late at night so you get a room at the nearest Holiday Inn to get some sleep, then at the paltry continental breakfast the next morning a fair maiden catches your eye. She' gorgeous and you get to talking and turns out she is on the way to California but she totaled her car and is stranded so you give her a lift. Well come to find out this girl has been secretly sent to this hotel to scam unsuspecting travelers out of their hard earned money but here's the kicker, she can't go through with the scam because she is falling for you but you don't know if you can trust her so you tell her off somewhere in San Diego and go to get your briefcase but when you go to leave you're shocked. She's standing outside by your car, she can't give you up. The next thing you know you are on the way to New York with this girl and the briefcase and then when you are rolling through Illinois you get chased by this biker gang because they mistake you for some guy that owes them money or something and they are trying to shoot out your tires or something but you get away. Unfortunately they hit the gas tank so you are stranded again. But in the end you decide to just marry that girl in Peoria and you settle down near Normal. I hope that clears things up.
