i just wish there was more gm intervention to enforce more rules. i dont think the market will sustain the server long with the current minimal level of rules and interventions

The issue wasn’t that he logged on an alt to collect the ring, the issue was that he logged back on his other character and wouldn’t surrender control to other people who had been waiting for hours; he was essentially trying to get two rings in a row. Thankfully you can’t outdps a wizard, so he got mad and left. A GM came on later to remind all parties that you forfeit a camp if you log off. Thanks Menden!

Clearly my understanding of the camp rules were mistaken as the GM cleared up. My understanding, in the better part of the nearly 20 years I'd played EQ, was that as long as the spawn was kept down switching characters wasn't an issue. And I had played that way during that time with no complaints, until last night. But ignorance isn't an excuse.

You were right and I was wrong. I offer my apologies to you and Mixxup for being a dick about it.
