At 24ish, head to High Keep. The experience is simply amazing (by far the best experience I have experienced in classic EQ), there is always a group there, and if you kill enough, you will be factioned in Rivervale which would be really funny as a Dark Elf.

I also say High Keep. You can just live there until 30+. You are fighting constant static spawns right next to the bank and vendors. It is good EXP and you can collect ears for even more exp or sell them to high level players for good PP.

You will meet lots of different classes and folks form beginners to very advanced players leveling up. It is also a good place to learn how to role your role in a group.

Not a bad idea, I did run into the ruins full of high level undead off the path once and died like 5 times trying to get my corpse. It was the worst place Ive died so far.

That sounds like a place to try, Im grouping in Upper Guk but if I cant find a group I might head elsewhere. I usually solo 50% of the time and Guk isnt really the place for it.

Looks like Rathe Mountains or Lake Rathe might provide some solo options in proximity to Upper Guk if I cant find a group.

I could have stayed in Oasis but I got bored. Orc Highway wasnt giving me much xp and crocs don't excite me very much. Plus having to constantly turn around to look for Giants I couldn't even walk away to the bathroom.
