my memory on rallos tells me that you could delevel from 20 to 15 and still have the level 20 damage cap lifted... it has been a long time though...

I thought on live back then you kept the skills from the previous 5 levels... what you say makes sense and I could see why even if it was different back then it would be too OP here...

clearly I'm remembering wrong...
Maybe it was both zek and live that allowed you to keep skills from 5 levels back? I remembered it as a zek thing (possibly anti griefing?), but memory is fallible.

yeah when i quit i gave my monk w/ several vulak items, several dozekar items, shroud of longevity, etc. to a friend who deleveled it to low 50s and used him to ruin some other guild's raids for like a month on red99 before getting bored and quitting himself

I would just create another monk and throw the droppables onto him. You won't have epic but it's still fun leveling up a monk from low levels. With the CoF and Fungi all you need are some solid weapons to tool around with and you're set. That way you have your 60 monk still available if needed.

Don't de-level, just de-gear. It'll be a much more drastic change of pace.
