I never even thought to try Zlandicar. Probably would've been pretty easy to do, too.

My guild had a bunch of pretty well equipped paladins that had several Kunark dragons on lock down for a while during PoP. I ended up getting Talendor once and got completely screwed on loot. I was more of a Venril Sathir soloer

During PoP, decently equipped paladins could solo Kunark dragons pretty easily. I wouldn't be shocked if Slay Undead paladins did it to Venril during Luclin, either (I soloed him during PoP using the PoWater weapon with a double slay undead proc)
During PoP I was able to solo Gornaire, Wuoshi, and VS. I think I tried Venril a couple times, once with the Plankton Laced Greatsword, and once with Vanazir. Slays with plankton iirc were upwards of 7k+ but it's been a while so I could be off lol.

wizards would only survive a couple rounds of combat from any respectable raid mob, and then any AEing merb would lay waste to them quickly enough that I don't think they could pull it off.

Maybe if you had like, 30 wizards, all with wort pots and enough resources to keep themselves above 20%. but then it would just be horrible because there's not enough class specific loot.

Yeah, Venril took forever because of his lifetap and regen. But it was easy to stay alive while tanking him, so once you got lucky with a few consecutive procs of slay undead (with the plankton sword), he was dead. If I remember right, plankton laced greatsword procs of slay were like 7500-8k. I would've taken Gorenaire, Faydedar and Severilous but could never find them up lol

For sure. 32k hp dragons. Granted, you'd need 25-30 wizards.

That would be fun to watch on p99. A small army of wizards in a guild nuking dragons dead.

I wonder if it would be one big blast of death, or would it take more than one shot from 30+ wizards lol.

Probably be rough on the wizard army if the dragon lived past the initial blast I'd think, like Skarlorn said...

They regen too fast for it to work past 3 seconds or so.
