I feel like LD bards don't. Before clicky legs, I always kept AOE fear mem'd in 8th slot and I've still went LD and died to some trivial shit like a Seafury. If I was chain casting fear while LD don't think that would happen.

On another note, I've witnessed the bard NPC's in the Karana's playing like 1 song every 5 minutes while they weren't engaged. Never saw one use songs in combat though.

i've only played 1 caster, and it was enchanter, and whenever I could spare the 8th gem I put gate on that shiz.

Sounds like mem blur is the way 2 go though

Bards shouldn't cast while LD. I plugged a ton back on live and never noticed any sort of interaction with bard songs at all.

In the event you go Link Dead while in combat your character will remain in game and continue attacking the NPC. If your character also happens to be a caster, they will exclusively cast whatever spell happens to be in the 8th slot of your spell bar.

Interesting. What happens if a teleport is in your 8th slot? You cannot zone while LD, do you just chaincast gate/port until you get booted?

I'm not sure you even need reagents when casting in LD mode? might be worth trying out!
