I recently downloaded parallels to play EQ on my mac. So far it's working good, but tends to get slow if I switch out my windows and such. So far so good though! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Alright so I have MacBook pro 13". I am using bootcamp to launch EQ. Overall things seem fine, except this weird issue with general slowness in animation and travel.

Even with SOW my char randomly will run extremely slow. Battle animations are equally slow. The chat log however is not delayed and battle mechanics go on as normal. So I don't know whats going on.

Whats weird is zoning, and sometimes facing certain directions things will instead return to normal. Another strange thing, when troubleshooting this problem I couldn't seem to get my clip plain lowered adequately.

Thoughts?

I tried the suggestion here,
http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...owness+running

That didn't help, in fact I think made it worse.

Found the solution to have MSConfig set windows to use 1 CPU. I found the solution here, and had wanted to link it, but now I can't find that post again. I found it under the search string "Dual Core".
