Don't worry he rates/judges my posts all the time too. I'll just add something at the end of the post to get him going.

ooc or shout in zone for a port with plat amount gets attention from anon porter classes

if non-twink then tip 1pp per your level, if twink then try to tip 50pp if under level 50 and then more when over level 50. Porters also except gems and will take gold begrudgingly

when sending tells to porters give as much information as possible /tell drood need pick up at BB rings and drop off in lavastorm

get an OT hammer and use the skyfire ramp to find porters, usually just using /say

get port'ing items: 1k gate potions, innothole & Everfrost potins, Lizard Blood Potions, WC hat, get VP and just run past all the see invs and thru locked doors for a free port to Sky

be a bard or use spirit of the cheetah and just run TD for the pots room

I don't mind paying and if they ask for a tip up front when 4 people who agree to that are in line?

Seems the demand for ports is very high and the paying players get first dibs.

Had to stop using DAP due to the long lines everytime I asked one of their druids. Great service back when it was fresh but I think it could use some branching out into separate tags as I'm just using /who all druid due to the lines.

Some of them keep track of way too long of queues. and then others will try to coordinate ports for maximum efficiency like bunching up the ports to same locs etc. This just slows it down and imo adds frustration to those waiting. But w/e. I just look for specific DAP players the ones I know are good and fast unless something abnormal pops up.

As a DAP member, it can get hectic when you are the only one porting. I have had queues of 6 people before, and I try to do them in such a way to minimize downtime for everyone while still keeping the ones who asked first as top priority. It's tough, though.

A lot of us also will use guild chat to ease some of the queue at times.

Someone front me 1k plat and I'll start recording videos of DaP. Good and Bad.

Read this all @Tupakk please.
Certain members of DaP are worse or better than others. Good ones may get thrown under a bus during busy hours. And bad ones never seem to have any repercussions for their negative service. It's not easy being a house hold name. You're always going to have some nut case who makes wild accusations about the service you provide. It comes with the territory. But to deny all and publicly claim ignorance to problems is not good for business. Rather you should do some PR work to help build confidence in the community that you're doing everything you can to provide the best quality service.

I don't know if DaP holds ~monthly member meetings but it seems like it would be a good start. I'm sure you all talk and what not in guild chat. But that's not the same type of organization that DaP needs to help lift it's name up out of the forums muck. And one more point is members in DaP who do things on their own without the guild knowing. That seems like it could potentially lead to problems. Like taking on personal contracts with other guilds and not making DaP aware.

edit: But i'm sure you're just say i'm wrong and so is everyone who says anything bad about DaP. *sigh*
Like paddling towards a waterfall dude.

Sounds like a fun fishing adventure hope you do it regardless of making plat. If you could throw in our theme song that would be even better

Deny and wanting solid proof two different things. Anytime a thread like this pops up it is basically PR because the good always outweighs the bad.

Join the guild if you want to find out how we run things.

And anyone that gets a guild contract kudos to them for their will and drive to land something like that. As long as they stay within our simple rules then we won't have a problem.
