The main raiding guilds are Awakened and Aftermath (collectively referred to as A/A and considered to be "hardcore"), Rustle (somewhere on the line between casual and hardcore) and CSG (a group of 3 guilds who raid as a group)

I'm not sure how it was back when you played, but the forums paint an ugly picture of the end game raid scene. Even in the "hardcore" guilds it is easy to maintain a healthy balance and not go full neckbeard (although some do, but that is true with any game.)

I actually played more when I was in a casual guild as raids lasted hours and hours. In Awakened I can sign in, kill the target mob, and sign out all in around 20 or 30 mins. If you are interested in end game raiding I suggest giving it a try and decide for yourself rather than adopt the picture painted in the forums.

Yeah buddy I raided in BDA for a couple years. It was absolute toxic politics, but I survived because a good friend of mine became an officer so I was favored by the corrupt loot council.

I just left AM because you have to make 20% of raids to pass app and keep 10% attendance to bid. I like raiding but I'm no longer willing to prioritize it. Like ever lol.

So I'll probably join Rustle. I know a good number of ppl in it, smaller and more casual friendly than A/A,also a bit more fun loving and tongue in cheek.

Either way dude hope to see you around soon! We can go port around and rez noobs and give items to young Hobbits. Full circle =)

I don't blame you, KWSN is on life support with about 0-1 people online at any given time. I'll hold the fort up just toss me a pm if you wanna come back!

Saving this one for posterity. in a few weeks I expect to see the 20-30min time frame grow as pressure to engage early increases.

Pretty clear to me, in his life 20% of those raids was too much of a priority. He wants to do what he wants when he wants to do it.

It would seem to me the new rules will speed up kills rather than slow them down, but we will see.
