Have you tried not running it in full screen?

Yep its in windowed mode by default ^^

Also tried WinEQ2, setting core affinity to 1... all of the above in win7, win8, vista and xp sp2 compatability mode.

Just boots me to the login screen like it's a graphics issue, can't see what else it could be :/
