So 50hp is worth 20k? Lol
And 5% haste is worth 40k and 15% haste is worth 80k. FBSS turns a 20 delay weapon into a 16.53 delay weapon where a CoF turns it into a 14.7 delay weapon. It's worth it if you can afford it and the plat isn't spendable in better ways for other things (buying a faster weapon is often quite a bit cheaper and more effective than buying more haste), but when you've filled everything else and that upgrade is still available, 50hp is worth 20k and 15% haste is worth 80k.

Though for 10k, you could gear up any class well enough to take you to 60 and still be effective all around and then you'd be in a position to simply loot a CoF.

Cof is just way better

Cocw is basically haste and useless stats while cof has good stats

I would consider CoCW arguably (key word) a better item for rangers/paladins than CoF.
Having some extra mana on a hybrid isn't a bad career choice esp if you're keeping that 36% haste that melees need.

Naw. It's overrated. I spent years watching people lose their mind over junk like dragon hero bracers, etc, etc. Yeah for the timeline, 50 hp is pretty good... but you're buying a haste item. Rest of the stats make zero difference. If you can save a considerable bit of plat getting the primary stat that matters in the game for a melee, I'd say go for it.

The nice thing is there's no wrong answer. You can build a character on the cheap that has probably eighty or ninety per cent the power of one decked out in expensive droppables. On the other hand, you might as well buy the expensive stuff if you happen to have nothing you'd rather spend the platinum on. Cash in the bank does a player no good, and in most cases (haste items for sure) you can always re-sell later. Such items can be regarded more as a rental than a permanent cash sink.
