Retail wow... LOL. So horrible.

You can literally 2 man entire dungeons with ease. Nothing can kill you unless you pull a completely unreasonable amount of mobs. CC... LOL? What's that? No CC required at all for anything, ever. Every class can face tank 3-5 mobs easily and not lose more than 25% health. Retail wow is an abomination of what made classic wow good and now only exists to print money and re-norm what a "good" mmo is "supposed" to be. Fuck me, I wish i had the 30 bucks back I wasted on two months of retail wow. Never again.

You obviously have not played WoW in a very long time, let alone this expansion

I played retail wow like three months ago. I got to like level 63 before I realized I was wasting a shitload of my time. If what I said isn't true, it's because I didn't get to max level. And it's bullshit that suddenly what I said doesn't apply to the most groundbreaking content. How are you supposed to teach people how to play your game unless its mechanics only show up for the end game? That's fugging dumb. The same basic mechanics that apply to level 10 also apply to level 60 in EQ, unless you're uber geared, which is always the exception.

If that is true, then why even bother making people level up in the first place? Retail wow is dumb.

Far too crowded on either server at the moment, even the rather unpopular leveling zones like Desolace are loaded. I'll probably wait till that fresh realm comes out and the hype simmers down.

Elysium will be a PvP realm and will follow the same progress as the two older realms regarding timeline and items. The timeline will be revealed next Sunday.
