I haven't played since gen 1 but I actually picked up LeafGreen about a month ago to re-familiarize myself and I've nearly beat it. Deciding whether to jump directly from that to Sun/Moon or work my way through the gens in order? They added so many features that I'm not familiar with.

How you do that? I dont have a 3ds, so probably not getting it anytime soon unless maybe there lie a special bundle with it for Black Friday, so mostly just curious ^^

basically you jailbreak the thing, done by exploiting vulnerabilities in different aspects of the operating system (the eziest one was in the 3DS web browser's rendering of horizontal sliders, so you go to a website with a slider and when you click it executes foreign code that gets you into a homebrew application). Lots of different mechanisms for accomplishing this dependent on version of the DS, but once you can run some alien code on there you can get it fully cucked so there's no need to use janky exploits and you can install homebrew and shit directly to the home screen like any legit application.

Then once you get it fully hacked up you can download and play any game from Nintendos servers (yeah pirate and play games using Nintendo's bandwidth, seriously) and the homebrew applications include one that lets you export/import pokeman save files. Then FTP the file to my computer and edit the pokemans using an application some nerd wrote, and reimport into my pokeman game.

I'm disgusted. Surprised they even drink alcohol. I think its the guy with the camera that has that Norfolk farmer accent which just adds to the cringe levels.
