Your level of surprise with Trump's win?

I'm not so much surprised he won, actually not surprised at all. But I'm pretty surprised HRC didn't take it further than she did. So evens out to somewhat surprised.

I wonder if there was something going on that made them not go over the edge and just grab power, maybe some deal. Unless that just hasn't happened yet, but it'll likely be pretty quick here that the Dems totally turn on her.

Oh come on Swish, you know HRC was by far the most pro-megacorp/big bank person we've ever seen run for POTUS.

But anyway, like I've mentioned, the Reps gained the house and senate because of things like 0bamacare being stuck to us. Some swore that movement was finished, but clearly it wasn't. So this is it's natural course. Now if Reps and Dems had allowed 0bamacare to be repealed, not moved towards TPP, the elections could have been very different. It is what it is.

I think they were both bad, but I'm interested to see how Trump handles his corporate pals. Are we going to see better handling of Starbucks and the likes who do their best not to pay any tax? I know in the UK they get away without paying anything while all the small businesses out there are threatened for every penny.

I voted somewhat surprised. I was fairly sure Trump would win. But then I started believing the hype over the last week. The media really can play tricks on your mind when you let your guard down.

If it went that way it'd be JFK, not Reagan. Some very strongly believe that was Bush and the neocons. But JFK, the guy was about to do some serious exposing, so they all were getting very nervous.

Dude, Trump's going to travel in a popehat mobile. You know he had body armor on through this while thing, right? They would literally need to blow up a city block to get to him. Nah, odds are, if they don't stop him right now, it won't happen for 4 years. I'm more concerned of them collapsing the economy now (next year) rather than anything else. ...or starting that big war they want, before he's in.

If they want you, like really want you, they got dudes can get you. Reagan just didn't qualify for the full frontal (doubt it was even (((they))) after him personally, but I'm no expert on that era).

Well I'm speaking of causality, not effect. JFK was a threat, Reagan was just in the way. But Trump knows all this, likely taking precautions to guard against effect. Like I said about Trump meeting with Kissinger and all the far-left conspiracy theories started popping up here, I would think nothing more obvious and enjoyable to tell such tyrants "something happens to me, I left my people with instructions" [You must be logged in to view images.
