Unless the prizes are items that you mentioned then I have a feeling that a lot of people aren't even going to bother with this event. Once they find out what prizes are handed out then they'll decide if they want to do it or not?

Pretty sure the idea is to not tell people what could be won. Greed works both ways too, not knowing and thinking what might be a prize can easily motivate the greedy.

Last year Jeromey of Asgard got the title "the Fear Walker", I believe, that alone makes it worth participating.

Braknar, Thanks for putting this together for the playerbase. Could I ask how long you think it will last? I would like to attempt to plan my night to be on for some of it if possible.

My plan is for it to be up for 6ish hours. We'll see how the night goes.

nice for my timezone... it gonna be up from 1am to 7am, having to leave at 5am for work, all I'll see of that event is the downtime prior to the event... It's classic experience, no GM event for us...

don't misunderstand me, I appreciate all your hardwork, but it's just annoying to have all the issue but none of the reward of the event...

Legit question, why so late? Or early for the west coasters I guess. Just kinda bummed if its 6 hours long and starts at 9pm my time I won't be able to finish it.

Er no sorry, it shouldn't take you 6 hours, just that it'll be up and doable for 6 hours.

Edit: Perhaps longer. We will have a good deal of visibility into how many people have completed, and how much they complete. If it seems that folks are taking longer than expected we can leave it up for longer.
