Still doing it? I recall my browser was nearly crashing lately, did you update adobe flash? Last version had some serious issues. Another thing beyond that, you might have your browsers set up to communicate with each other from pc to devices. Like when I make a bookmark, it goes to all my other computers/devices. I've seen them do funny things with forum thread links between them, like your describing, but not all the time.
