It's definitely not PVP centric, but otherwise yah that's true. It's a PVE game with PVP as an option.

I liked it alright, but yeah it's a lot like WoW. The people are pretty though and that's really all that matters

NDA or no, I wasn't actually in beta but my brother was, so here's what I saw.
-Character progression system that has a lot of potential fun/depth. Time always tells. I played a Blade Dancer/Riftwalker and this seemed an extremely rare combo, even before min/maxing. It was powerful. This gave me hope of finding rare, enjoyable specs that work. On the flip side, I played a Pyromancer a bit and it seemed faceroll worthy. From what I hear online, Warlock/Necro builds are beastly too. I find it hard to judge classes these days since most games (including this one) give me god power no matter what skills I have. -The world is lacking, so far. Very linear and little reason to explore. I could be wrong about this because I didn't have a ton of time myself to get on, but both times I went out trying to find Easter eggs I came up dry. I've seen it mentioned on fan sites/etc. that this is their intention to help keep pvp centered. This is a downside for me personally. -Polished as far as betas go. Buuuut, fool me once... That's my little tidbit. It's not a bad game, but not one I'd see an EQ purist loving. | ||
