So, a person camping the AC will say, "I am staying 1 more spawn of PH after I get ring just so you know..." And, if the AC spawns again, they then get corpsed and grab the second ring. Had this happen to me, guy stayed one more spawn after he got ring, hoping for a back to back AC spawn.
No. Absolutely not allowed. If you get your item and someone waiting, move on.

So, how do these types of internal issues get resolved? I mean... obviously players have a whole different idea what are rules and not rules for camps now.

I'd hate to be a guide having to sort these types of issues out... But it's pretty clear the rules of camping items have become very gray and cloudy for many.

I appreciate the input though, I figured a lot of BS was going on here, because it just seems so inefficient how the camp is managed by players now.

Seems that some players create their own rules and claim it as "server rules" too.

I wish there was a concrete explanation easily available by the guides/admin here regarding the AC camp and others, just so we had something a little more solid to follow.

Someone can not wait for 1 more spawn to see if AC pops back to back. Once you have your item you must move on. Corpsing is allowed only if no one is at the camp waiting...problem is people don't want to actually sit at AC camp to see if he ever spawns because it's a mind numbing camp when it's yours, let alone watching someone else do it.

The saving grace about this camp is that it's a quick spawn, and if you are a class that can do Sea Furies then you can make some good money while waiting (If there is not an epic Shaman root rotting the entire island like an a$$hole).

Journeyman's boots are seriously like the best item ever, the camp is always going to be contested unless they take away the ability to MQ

Why you two dislike each other so much? You both loathe BDA right? Is it the cat avatars?

Swish is a turncoat is why. We share many allegiances on many issues, but LINE vs QUEUE and Wu'Tang are two issues we can not agree on.

its not really complicated rules. all waiting lists are just players being courteous to each other, if you have the camp it is yours to do with as you please, and you get to choose who can take your place if you decide to leave. the fact that people leave alts names as contacts is not surprising and is reasonable.. that way they can just log onto their character when the spot frees up. we do this for everyones convenience so that we don't have people sitting around both waiting for the camp sniping AC's the second they pop because the camper was looking away for a couple seconds.

people can choose to pull someone off the list, or they can invite their buddy, or they can just log off and ignore the list completely. the only things that are actual server rules are that you can't just steal the camp, and that the person who holds the camp has a right to pass the camp onto whoever they choose... usually people abide by the list though.
