i hate them neither for their morals nor their success.

i hate them for their actions.

idc what people believe, i care only about behavior.
What about the fact that they let their employees off on Sundays? Seems they put aside profit motives and like to spread the love around to their employees. I think the white clean interior scares you. Perhaps you would be more comfortable eating your meals near a squat toilet with your hands?

Whatever cult obligations they observe doesn't really affect me unless i wanted their shit on a sunday (i don't), i don't care one way or the other about this. i don't care one way or the other that they are a cult based organization. in-n-out is also a cult based organization, with many similarities, but i eat there no problem. in fact, because i know they see "freshness" or whatever as a cult based obligation, i actually trust them to follow through more on that "promise," similar to a halal butcher.

what you don't see is in-n-out and halal butcheries spending money and posturing in such ways as to actively further the oppression of marginalized people. we do see chicfila doing that, and I know that's why you love them.

I agree. As the owner of a marginized body I have lost a lot of sleep over the political affiliations of this fast food chain.

Your bias is showing. I mean I wear mine like a Nazi armband but yours is bleeding through your Che shirt. Hates Christians but defends Halal practices.... Confirmed mudslime.

Yes (mostly), and no.

I hate any religion which indoctrinates children, and this includes any participant of religion who indoctrinates their child, which is most of them. Religious parents who teach their children open mindedness, critical thinking, and evidence vs belief can live, once the pre-hbbtopia-cleanse begins.

What I said re: halal had the implication that I would trust a halal butcher to deliver certain aspects of meat quality that i would not trust to be true from a capitalist-run butcher. the cult-based obligation has a moral implication to it, and so the cult practitioner will be more likely to follow through than someone who may otherwise be trying to cut corners already.

And I made the exact same analogy about the christ cult obligations of in-n-out.

i would like to step back from my statement that i don't hate them for their success.

insofar as i hate any capitalism, i also hate this capitalism.
