Just shocking to me that anyone is actually surprised that people box on P99. I saw it happen almost daily. Not to mention how many people have an afk box in EC tunnel while they do other things. Do people really think that isn't going on? Got bad news 4 ya.

I never had an IP exemption either. You just need a virtual machine like VMware with VPN or just a second computer with a VPN . Ez pz

Why is it that whenever I struggled with moving loot, or dealing with merchants who wouldnt sell, I never considered just making a mule, getting an ip exemption, then having it easy?

I've reported lots of times when I suspected dual boxing and I am not really sure if it ever gets enforced, or its just when people hop on for 20 seconds to transfer an item.

Today in Lfay, I watched for over an hour this situation of an iksar killing sisters, then trading spears to a completely idle gnome. eventually he would cast SOW on the gnome, then run him over to sell, while the shaman sat 100% idle.

I ran a char there who wasnt invis, and he logged the gnome out immediately, but it was back as soon as I returned on the invis char.

Alright, forgot it, its just something that gets enforced right? Its not like someone trains entire zones while someone is standing there idle, then the high level char goes idle while the lower level kills everything, with identical names

That second picture - LOL. Doxx, the owner of Doxxe and Doxe, routinely has his alt cleric, Doxe, and his porter, Doxxe, logged in by others to accomplish situational tasks.

....not that this picture was taken ~8 months ago, since he's still rocking the <Asgard> tag, his alt cleric is not even in Plane of Hate gear, and his wizard doesn't have a Staff of the Silent Star that he acquired back in January.

This is certainly not boxing.

As the Iksar in the picture, I am here to say 2 things, the first being that the gnome is actually my mother. Her and I got an IP exemption a long while ago (before Velious was released on this server) and are recently coming back. However, due to her not having the time to play, she doesn't really do much in game currently, and, under request, is using the gnome to run loot for me on HER account, and HER time, thus not dual boxing (or I would say it isn't), however I will not deny what's going on here. The second is that if a GM actually comes out and says that you can be banned for this, we will stop (I'd really appreciate a warning from the GMs before a flat out ban if you read this.)

That said, you said "the iksar goes idle while the gnome goes and sells." Well, I'm usually pretty idle with 10 minutes between camp clears (so much so, people have ran through and cleared the camp not even realizing I was there camping it.) The gnome logging out while you were there on a non-invis character was complete and total coincidence.
