I liked " a rat" better than " a large rat" because of the wonderful "Die, a rat!" message from guards.

one of the reasons why I quit before lucilin, was that in alot of the preview pictures plus the planes that were coming out it literally looked like they ran out of fresh ideas and just started making manbearpig hybrids.


We need new mobs for this zone! hmmmm.... *scratches chin* how bout..... a flying half misquito...... half gecko............ half fish DONE! NEXT!!!

Owlbears have been around since table top D&D days, perhaps even before. If you bother to look at mythological creatures, EQ borrows heavily from that.
