As soon as I saw the Awakened start logging in(prebuffed and gtg) I say in guild chat that we should just be like Taken and only go for Vox. We are not nearly underhanded enough to play with these kids.

Don't let Nemce and the "please don't try so hard" crew brainwash you. The rule set on this server is never going to hand you free anything just because you're starting to clear towards a raid mob (that drops priceless loot), so get in the mindset that you need to play better and quicker to win, or it's going to be a long server life for you.

Ha! Legday nice grab at timers. But seriously I think Venerate predominately only raids from 5pm - 12pm. I know that's a huge window when it comes to windows but I would lean more toward 10pm if I was a betting man!

You aren't going to get a whole lot of response here. Since aside from TMBLOW (who is a former Taken dude, probably Eratani's anon account) Awakened doesn't post here. Evidently they are all a bunch of bitches who let other people tell them what they can and can't do in their own free time. The other people who do post here, will likely eat you for lunch if you don't come correct. This is of course excepting the assholes from Aftermath who for some reason think their forum game is skronk, but really just comes off as psychopathic rambling.

Anyways as others have said, what you experienced is nothing unusual for this server. Might I suggest giving the Phinegal live server a shot? BDA migrated over there to get away from the man children and we've been killing it. So yeah, fuck p99 with a red hot poker and give Phinny a shot.
