Raevin argued the sentence that supplemented the main idea, but it was really inconsequential. The only real argument there would have been AoW not being considered a high priority raid target. I agree that there should be an asterisk with the condition 'except on Mondays', or that the statement should be removed completely.

It is misleading and unfortunate that a number of things Awakened sells on their recruitment thread isn't completely honest. The no alliance "benefit" was the reason I applied to them. Being able to stand on your own as a guild is a matter of pride. Kill the target with what you have or die trying. I come from a guild like that. Being willing to suck up that pride and do anything necessary to secure a kill, while pragmatic, is shameful, and should be, for everyone in that guild. Particularly when you specifically state your that guild does not share kills.

It's pretty funny that a guild that owes its existence to a merg between Taken and Rampage leftovers would have a big attitude about alliances.

I always thought it was just something BDA cared about because...wtf else are they going to say about the state of their guild?

The fact that people actually care about never teaming up with another guild is a strange concept to me.

I strongly share your sentiment if the objection has no other basis. However irregular alliances dilute loot opportunities if a guild is capable of doing it on their own.
