Hospitals know about this which is why the strongest antibiotics are used in dire cases. They don't want the strands to adapt because they will.
That is pretty much common knowledge, but doesn't site reference of what I asked of you regarding your claims that this isn't news and has already happened here in the US. Assumption is not really credibility, it is only a measurement of faith ...in you, and I ain't believing no psychic style conjectures (yes purposeful double-negative for emphasis only).

NBC News: 'Nightmare Bacteria' Superbug Found for First Time in U.S
National Geographic: Long-Dreaded Superbug Found in Human and Animal in U.S.

imo one of the top 10 national news events in the US this year thus far, regardless of media coverage.

It's not news because it's standard fear mongering click bait for ad revenues. Ever try a cynical, realistic method of thinking rather than demand, beyond a reasonable doubt, something that can be considered credible in your weltanshaung?

Maybe vancomyacin. It's what was given to me when I had staph in my dick from a spider bite 4 years ago. I'll ask my mom, nurse of 30 years, when she's up. Wouldn't doubt if there's one or two that were developed in the past few years that are stronger tho'.

vanco is top as far as clinical use goes.

The others that are stronger than vanco, do not gain resistance, but they cause damage to your body and cannot be used unless its confirmed that you are dying. They can also kill the patient.

I can't think of the name off the top of my head, but there's 2-3 big boys from the early 1900's that are used only as a last resort when the clinical use MRSA antibiotics have failed and maiming the patient (turning him into redjamz) is no longer a concern as keeping the patient alive is more important.

If you find someone in OT who can name a few of them, I'd be genuinely surprised. I knew at one point but its already forgotten as it had no application.

I know someone who was given IV emergency vanco. Not going to detail anything, but there was side effects.

You think that's cynical?? And I suppose me suggesting it was made in a lab is not? ...heh. But I don't see the existence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria as just some matter to blame the media and blow it off as nothing. Many millions of people have died in plague epidemics before antibiotics were discovered. Remove the media, it still remains a major problem, the media doesn't change a thing about the matter. The fact of the matter, and still remains, this went loose on the population, and that is not some old thing that doesn't matter.

It is what it is, and like I've said over the years, antibiotics are abused. People get it for every little thing. They even inject it into cattle, then traces into the milk, been that way 20yrs. At a point it all begins to become ineffective, and this is just showing it's gotten to that point. Doesn't mean there will be a pandemic tomorrow literally, but it's one of the red flags many have been waiting for and for a long time. ...because of awareness and not just burying it ...you work for the gov?

Maybe you are one of the liberal elite thought peeps? The herd needs to be thinned out some, eh? hehe. For some this goog news yeaaah.

There are two types of people in this world right now, those that are asleep and those that are awake.

Your view supports the big government position of corporatism, whether you know it or not. To just go on with what is the status quo, nothing has changed, no big deal. The big pharmaceuticals profits by your lack of interest, they count on it, have for decades, as they crank out more antibiotics to recommend excessive usage $$$ further weakening their potency, as politicians enjoy the lobby monies. You only add to the problem, encouraging others to stay in their slumber. You cry link bait, but you seem to be unaware just how influenced you are by them already.
