What does sneak provide that camouflage doesn't? Yes this is a legit question, I'm still pretty new here.
Invis is just invis, mobs can see through it. Sneak reduces the aggro range of mobs and limits their visibility of you to a 45* cone in front of the mob. You just walk out of line of sight. Or, if the mob is facing you, run behind it on the server tick and sneak before it ticks over again. I have used this to walk to the bottom of seb, guk, chardok, etc. basically anywhere mobs see invis.

The server tick is your friend, it turns sneak from useless to overpowered.

sneak is pretty powerful, and halflings while also disgusting can also use hide to break charms, and to med in peace without having to mem/cast invis.

you can even just sneak and sit down directly behind a see invis/KOS mob and afk/med indefinitely.

Kill the PH, sneak and sit behind where he spawns, when he spawns he will be right in front of you but not aggro until you are ready

Everything in everquest happens every six seconds. You can see this by taking off and re-equipping an hp item, or casting a spell then watching the resource tick up.

A mob only checks for aggro every so often, I feel like its on the half tick which is 3 seconds. If you are out of range when the tick happens, and then behind the mob and sneaking before the next tick, it will never have seen you.

You can use this to just run by mobs if you are going to be able to get behind an los barrier.
For example, in kc, whatever character im on, even my warrior, I just wait for the tick and then run from the pawbuster stairs through the jail into the box room and never aggro.

Halfbreeds are perhaps the least wise of the civilized peoples of the West. It is not their fault that their bastardized genomes leave them sorely lacking the natural intuition and feral bonds druids and acolytes of other faiths have come to rely so heavily on. Halfbreeds are often the product of broken homes and suffer prejudice at both ends of their genomes, disposing them to greater expression of egocentricity and carnal impulse that is often left unchecked by their average intelligence.

That being said, there are plenty of magical items out their by which a dolt might claim the acumen to practice Druidic magics, so I would not allow your intuitive ineptitude to discourage you from pursuing your dreams. Good luck friend!
