Probably just due to the low level range. Its definitely not what I would consider “a server problem” – Most groups I am in are fairly stable, but maybe that’s just because of my awesomeness

Your awesomeness probably doesn't hurt haha. I'm still what most would consider a newb.

For what it's worth, I was in a CB group which wiped this weekend; nobody rage-quit, plus both the rogue and enchanter offered to drag corpses out of the throne room without even needing to be asked.

I think OP was just really unlucky.

I do not believe I have encountered a situation like the one that you have described in the former orc stronghold of Clan Crushbone or anywhere else in my travels. I have encountered a few cranky individuals, but that is to be expected. The world is full of diverse personalities. Some of the best ways to deal with the sour ones are generosity and leadership. I share freely my stash of liquor with comrades, especially the cranky ones and work to inspire greatness in them.

Once recently in the City of Mist a combination of ignorance and inebriated bliss lead my party, with me at the forefront, to calamity! I was conversing with a group mate and was not fully aware of the severity of my location until it was too late. My presence angered a returning horde of constructs and undead, leading to the deaths of several group mates in addition to my own. We recovered though and I learned a valuable lesson that day: Captain Orlin's Spiced Ale is delightful!

god blue players are just a bunch of whiny liberals. I really miss the era of 2009 - 2012, before the faggots came.

Some people have very little patience for wipes. In particular you'll see twinks rage quit the group after a wipe. It happens, best to just laugh at them and keep on keepin' on. For the most part people are able to shrug off wipes/deaths and get back into groupage.

Why are Rick&Morty fanboys insufferable in everything they do.

First - if you are ever in a situation where you can't get your corpse, pull up a map of the zone and look for the closest location to your corpse that you can safely get to. Then go to that location and try to /corpse your body. You can /corpse through walls, and it is not affected by z-axis.

As for groups - no one really takes lowbie groups seriously. Once you get higher and the levels take longer you'll meet mor3 dedicated players, but in CB a lot of times you find people who log on for 20 mins to bang out a level or something. Best bet is to /friend people you like grouping with and start organizing your own groups. By the time I was like L20 on my first character I had already made friends with 8-10 people who I pretty much exclusively grouped with until we all hit max level. Even on the last character I leveled up, even though we didn't really become friends, I probably did 80% of my 50+ groups with the same group of people because we worked well together and had similar playstyles. You can try joining a guild, but there is really no replacement for sending someone a tell saying that you enjoyed grouping with them and are adding them to your friend list for future groups.

If you group with random people, you'll get random results. Hard to avoid it early on, but the sooner you can surround yourself with like minded players the more you'll enjoy the game imo.

I love the drama that hits the forums coming from Crush Bone. (whether its real drama or not) It's always fascinating to see lower level players react in that particular zone.

There have been so many funny, sad, weird stories from this zone. It's too bad they're not all recording in one glorious place.

If you've spent time in crush bone, you know.. you know
