Iksar Bone Chip Quest

I did this on live after Velious was released. Once i got the MAX Legion of cabalis message iT took 6800 bone chips turn in till SK where not Kos and coned dubious.

I spent 8Kpp in Bone Chips to max them all, and killing a few thousand Forsaken Iksars to max Brood of Kotiz.

I think the Brood of Kotiz method is a better way to get access to merchants... I THINK the ones near the guild are still on this? Getting the Merchant faction is beyond ridiculous. The scaled curskins are not a great way, I have done it at least 75 times and have not moved out of scowling. Normally merchant quests given by merchant npcs move VERY quickly, such as the red wine quest in Neriak which raises merchants easy. I am questioning whether or not its possible for non iksar/non illusion to raise merchant faction. There is posts from me back in 2012/2013 when I questioned this as well lol.

I maxed out at Ally with merchants - Cabilis Residents. You can't really compare to Neriak though because 1 red wine gives +10 Dark Bargainers, +1 Dreadguard Inner/Outer. x4 Bone Chips give +1 to all of the factions listed, no more. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=260

There is no way Bone Chips give +1 to merchants otherwise I would be out of scowling as a Dark Elf Cleric, unless you start -200000 , I have done over 1500 turn ins on top of scorpion pincers and scaled curskins, I would have seen myself get out of Scowls in to Threateningly using the bankers as a gauge.

search cabilis residents on forums and you'll find various posts regarding this. I really would love to see a SS of ally Cabilis without any faction spell or illusion (assuming you are not iksar).

Also my reference to the red wine quest was because it is a quest INITIATED by a merchant npc. Scaled Curskin quest is also this way.

http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=75 - this says +5 Cabilis Residents, I have done this about 75 times on top of my 1500 turn ins for bonechips (6000 chips) which have taken my SK to dubious, and my merchant faction is STILL scowling. I have refused to do any more factioning to get this up until there is confirmation it is not bugged as I don't know a single non iksar in my guild or in posts ive made that have made it to Apprehensive and above with questing alone.

From when I levelled up my dark elf faction with my half elf warrior of innoruuk (apparently the purist dark elves don't like filthy mudbloods) I can tell you the faction guide on the wiki probably does not use the same figures as P1999.

At around 56-58 8 slot bags worth of bone chips I've reached dubious with everybody but the Shamans and the Necromancers. I can walk around Cabilis mostly unbothered.
