I get twitch, I like watching elite players playing stuff or time trial specialists on old games or MTG event streams, but all of that is wildly different from a rando wanting other randos to watch him play some game (usually poorly) which I don't get.

While I don't ever advertise or spam my stream, it's classless/tacky and speaks volumes of the person spamming... Chest it would be an honour to have you come hang out and watch my noobness and maybe pick a few songs.

Streaming EQ is fun because it adds another social element to an often monotonous and boring game. I think the better question is why randos want to watch other randos play a 17-year old game poorly, not why streamers advertise themselves.
