Well, what's to stop someone else from hosting open raids, then? Get a coalition of some casual guilds going, yo. I know some LifeAlert members would be down.

A lot of people would be willing but most casual people will give up when they zone in and see 30+ of another guild preparing for a clear.

It has to be hard to do a pickup raid, you have to know when a zone is going to respawn which isnt difficult but you have to convince 20 people to come along when it happens.

Since some guilds are doing planar clears twice a day it makes it pretty hard to compete with guilds that know what mob is going to spawn next before it even pops.

Try it though! I'm sure a lot of people would be wanting to do pickup raids including myself.

Blackwater did not disband. It was just made up of a lot of people who had things come up and they couldnt login much anymore. A few people including myself left but it's like 3 or 4 tottal who actually left the guild. It's still around and might pickup again, just need something to get them up and going so they log in.

Blackwater didnt back down btw. Beat another guild to Maestro on an open raid, so it can be done with the right people leading.

I'm glad to hear it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I hope Kunark coming out creates an influx of old and new players, alike.
