I don't see why it matters if OP was level 47 or level 60, a quest is a quest. Great that Azure Guard stepped up to try and help the guy, definitely should have went for it rather than have other people tell you what to do if you won the roll. In the future I would advise to have people ready to kill it though.
Telling OP "gg go level more noob" is the reason why there is so many elitest pricks on this server.

It matters because he showed up as a level 47 with no means to complete the quest. If you can't get the quest done don't bother showing up to roll as you are wasting a spawn potentially and everyone's time. If a level 10 shows up with 3 60s to help him with the quest more power to him.

what is the point of rolling if you can't complete it? Sounds like he could have done this turn in, but realized he didn't have the support necessary so he didn't do the turn in. Usually enough people stick around to help the winner, but I can see why some wouldn't for a level 47 if that is what happened.

Some may argue against this but part of classic EQ is such quests like coldain rings and shawls for mains are done at 60 for the majority.

It is just ample proof of another non Classic thing about the server as everyone already had hindsight knowledge

I think part of the reason people would be reluctant to help a lvl 47 with no backup is because people have been buying extra rolls from rando low level toons.

Awakened members there, all on their alt monks, that basically bullied me out of my roll because apparently their 4th alt is more important than a main who legitly won the roll.

If you think 8th ring is bad, wait until the Chardok quests and Strength of the Elements.

Multiple 24-hour and 3-day spawns/triggers - it's going to be the worst.

I've _always_ helped, no matter who won the roll, if I was there. Ask the countless amount of people I helped on Fuge while I rolled every single night for a month straight.

However, no one ever expected help of random people - it was just a nice thing to do. I had people prepared to get to EW (it's a 5ish minute run from IC rings to orc fort) within a moments notice every night, hoping I won. Luckily, people there returned the favor and helped me as well.

Also, that's a tough quest to do as a well geared 60 rogue. How did you get your 7th ring?
