Well, one of the main things that has changed, is that <Rampage> used to get at least 50% of the important Velious targets. Currently <Awaken> is getting maybe 10%, and can't stand up to half of FA. I mean literally half of FA (Asgard) plowed them on this weekend on targets <Forsaken> was suspended from.

Well, they had a lot of spineless lackeys as well, that were willing to wake the sleeper over a grown man's loot tantrum. I think that, upon making a guild name to remind people of how Awakened made the server permanently worse for no reason, there shouldn't be any surprises as to why the rest of the server hates them.

But no, I wouldn't call what Awakened is doing "competing" per se; more like "spectating". Certainly doesn't have me flustered, but if voyeurism is your thing they definitely have the best seat in the house. They did have a large key advantage on the other raiding guilds, but they ruined that for themselves -- which is kind of hilarious. Now they don't even get a change of scenery while they watch better guilds kill dragons.

FA was destroying Tramps.

Hoku admits defeat, gets his goodbye fireworks show and has the core of his guild RMT off p99 (again).

The remaining warm bodies merge into an even weaker guild with the remains of the shittiest players of Tramps.

what exactly is surprising about FA winning against a weakened version of their opponent ?

Yea is pretty much the same , minus the core of about 20.

MMORPG 101 though, they should of known, when you stack your core with full BiS and double SoD etc. AND make them play super hardcore what happens? is called burnout. always will get thee same result when you council shit. Thats why once Forsaken finalizes their plans of pure DKP bid or w.e it will be the place to be.
Than add in that with the taken n ramp merge , they made the fatal flaw of not erasing DKP.

Awakened will get very few to no apps when the apps see 5000 dkp people.

Nothing surprising. As ya said they defeated the tramp , so beating a weaker one is expected. Tramp thinks they won too , im sure , by waking sleeper and holding down keys (until the other guild got enough to compete , and than they "quit". so just common sense makes it look like they bowed out)
Really it was the council gearing the core which burned them out and we see the end results. As mentioned above its a recipe for guild death.

Well I'd have told you had they done this like 1year 1/2 into velious, with Chardok revamp out and folks with full BiS and stuff , yeah, why not.

But this sounded very premature to me, kinda like "yeah I went hard 6 Months, got my monk sleeing gown of death now FU all FU detoxx LOL". Post a few screenshots here and there, go hard in RnF as they killed their guild and then left to a WoW server (lol really?) and then just shit on anyone still playing on p99 cuz "LOL U STILL PLAY ELF SIM", whilst the guys spent 7 months waking up at 3am for this.

The concept of a velious with or without sleeper is rather irrelevant to many of us. I believe tramps were the only ones to see themselves as victors. filthy casual scum like me who play in velks and sell chardok pulls give 0 Fucks about 3 items we would never had any chances to ge in the first place anyways.

I guess we will carry on being casual scums, and enjoy this awesome project and the free gaming it provides.
