I am having an issue where randomly my graphics will start to glitch, then everything will go invisible and freeze. The game will run smoothly, then completely crap out. Sometimes its within 5 minutes, sometimes two hours. It makes the game pretty much unplayable.
if nothing else worse, set up a VMWARE with an OS you know it works on

this isn't very hard nor timeconsuming, pm if u need details

If not fixed this could be power related. Or, over heating. If it's a new computer see what tools it comes with and see if you can monitor the heat index of the CPU and MB.

Also, check out the power levels.

EDIT:

Random issues like that suck, but I find they are either heat, power or a random bad hardware.
