I've heard that if you worship Veeshan, and can have some instance of faction song / spell you can become nonKOS but a single kill of any Minion will tank your shit to unrecoverable status much like SG. So pretty much unobtainable / unreasonable, there's no need to be nonKOS to trash. Even if you could obtain that status a single mistake of being a train up and forgetting to zone / die would wreck your shit. As a bard, run fast and have nimble feet. Between sneak + Travel Song + DA Song + Idol you can essentially do whatever the hell you please in that zone, just be careful and use your noggin.

EDIT: You can very easily use camp out spots via dropping from balcony, safe spots, or just raw distance to accomplish nearly anything you need to do.

Where have you heard this? That's never been the case on this server. It's possible that they SHOULD be on minions of scale, but there is a real paucity of classic info on VP 1.0. If you have some kind of classic source, that would be very interesting.

With the exception of the dragons, obviously. Everything except possibly the elven dancers are on Minions of Scale faction. Like Guardians of Veeshan faction, mobs on Minions of Scale faction will always hate you, and there is nothing you can do about it.

No idea, no definite source that I can recall. Was just some word of mouth bull shit, kind of like people telling me that Dex increases your chance to hit. I'm not saying it's right, just saying that I've heard it is. I wouldn't spend a minute to level a character w/ Veeshan deity and get it a key just to test it. Probably some rumor mongering BS because of SG and worshipping Brell and going to the Hole.

This isn't really what it's about. If trash was on minions of scale, then you would only need to not take any hits on that faction and then use faction spell/song. My chanter can be non-kos to the trash in skyfire that's on minions, and it's possible that even just alliance neck would work for non bard/chanter (I don't think I've tried it tho).

Bards' faction song allows us to temporarily (until zoning) become non-KOS with anything that cons threateningly -and during classic with working instrument modifier scowling. If the original poster was threateningly to trash mobs in VP he could be non-KOS with his song.

There is no question that the Skyfire Mountains dragons are on Minion of Scale. OP is saying that he is threateningly to them but scowling to trash mobs in VP. If this is true then they actually might be on a different faction. Do VP mobs give -Minion of Scale?
