I think it's pretty obvious that you should not spend large amounts of money on a gasoline powered commuter car if you intend to keep it for 5+ years.

I feel exactly the same about fossil fuels. If you want to invest in sources of power, they are not what you should be spending money on for once again, obvious reasons. The cost to obtain, the fact that there is a finite amount of it, the aftereffects of use all imply that money invested should be invested elsewhere.

This is an interesting assertion given the prevailing argument I've seen from geneticists is that genetic variation between races is no more significant than variation within races.

Intuitively it makes sense though and goes hand in hand with what I am saying. It wouldn't surprise me. Given that IQ is intensely correlated with brain size though I'd be curious to see the effect specifically on Asians given their already superior IQs and more ideal cranial shapes.
