THEY actually MERGED, rather than counting on all these SHITTY Alliances I see EVERYWHERE in P99. WTF people, back in the old days of live that is how it was done. None of this well , we are our own entity but lets just band together and kill raid mobs together nonsense.

I am somewhat convinced that the TRAMP alliance came about in part because Rampage leadership KNEW what was going to happen one day and YES to compete with the alliances that kept infecting this server. It appears to me that Rampage was also looking to pass the torch as it were to remaining Rampagers/Apps wishing to continue to play the game, and found Taken (Greedy and drooling ready to accept) to be the perfect candidate for this.

Just my 2cents on that situation from outside looking in. It is called a rant forum ppl!

Yeah, well here's what I know about assholes: they shit on things. Just because you didn't see Rampage shitting on things when you knew them doesn't mean they weren't assholes though. No, they were full of shit. I don't blame you for not smelling it though. Now they've shit on the server and your here in the sewers singing their praises. Check your shoes.

Anyways..

People you encounter in EC, or in a dungeon may seem like completely normal people, and they generally are. Put best loot in the game on the line with limited availability to obtain it in a raid scene, everyone turns into assholes. You are only seeing half the side of Rampage.

I don't even understand this respect for merge thing you have? Rampage is the merge of IB and Ateam. That conveniently also dodged a pending raid suspension on IB, and with Ateam members mostly taking a subordinate role in the original formation of the guild.

Rampage flew solo up until a bit into velious, but found themselves needing help for AoW encounters,ring war and Tunare. They solicited Divinity with some mild successes, but still had what was in their view too many losses to the FAT alliance. To kick down and suppress that, Rampage bribed Taken with NTOV loots (which they were not reviving previously). Yes this hurt FA for a bit, but are once again succeeding on the raid encounters previously done by FAT, and is on the cusp of AoW killing once more. Rampage isn't getting significantly much more with taken, but a lot more mouths to feed.
