Very difficult to roleplay on the forums. Nobody respects it. At most you can just post a thread and hope people like it. After the first page it becomes the same "try red"/"bda sucks"/"i'm less neckbeard than you" spam as everything else.

I see casual role play in-game, but it seems to take a lower priority than OMG MAD DASH 4 ELF PIXELS. With so many serous business pixel hunters, it tends to discourage those of us who are willing to role play.

Wheres all the good Troll/Ogre RP like the old days. Only a select few could truly master the proper Troll RP talk.

I used to RP in game on live regularly. Brell Serelis also had a very strong server forum where the RP section was frequented by many.

EQ is about min maxing and loot. RP gets in the way.
