OP this is just another classic case of nostalgia shit goggles, you think the game was the best ever but the reality is it was just another shitty jrpg added into the abyss

with this update it gives it a more modern appeal, and maybe make the game actual enjoyable. I could do without the paying for different content of the game thats bullshit but everything else is A++

I think with the shitty PS1 graphics it was easy to get through that part as kid being like I'm 12 years old and what is this? Be slightly confused and move on to the rest of a great game. With razor sharp wayyy better than FMV graphics... It's gonna be pretty in your face that you're cross dressing to break into a sex club, later finding yourself woken up pounced on by muscular gay men in bikini briefs.

I think it's lacking integrity to censor that part out, but it would raise some seriously valid WTF just happened questions for a kid playing the game for first time with the new graphics. So I agree with you Kag, but I think I understand where they are coming from also.

Them spliting a single game into 3 DLCs sets a really bad precedent for how badly we as gamers are willing to get screwed over by gaming companies. That's the bigger issue imo. I, for one, think these forums, a niche emulator community for players of a long dead mmo, are the perfect place to send a message to Square and the rest that we are taking a stand and won't be oppressed any longer.
