there was fierce pvp from the start of classic. the first week was insane, and the battles got even crazier as we fought for zones that dropped real gear like najena lguk sk sola/b. imagine if we had these pop numbers back then

most people were not around during classic, in some cases even kunark, so they have nothing to compare it to.

velious. is shit. I cant camp and log in at a designated hot spot. Thats what you did in classic(Lguk was the shit,sol b druids rooting up to your efreeti grp and fighting, fun as hell, vox and naggy fun as hell guild v guild pvp, lavastorm pvp off the chain, EVERY SINGLE DAY, in classic PVP was everywhere and it was glorious. you couldn't afk anywhere and expect not to die, ontop of that there was an exp loss on death which really should still be in.

kunark... the first year of kunark was ok because everyone was still exping you could travel kunark and go PVP the people at the exp spots and item spots. then after year 3 of kunark you could camp in and out of KC and everyone just as a community agree'd KC was the place you parked your characters and did your PVP. it was ok while it lasted.


velious....heh.. whats the agreed upon spot for pvp? bind killing at the POM tree? uhmm, sitting at the SG zoneline, i mean come on...

PVP is dead and gone except for extreme freak of nature acts of god what happend the other day in grobb and that is a one off thing that happens once every 3 months? 6 months? honestly can't remember last time something like that happend.
