Kunark at level 50 would've been way more reasonable.

But Druids and shamans being stuck with greater healing while clerics have CH and superior healing would be very lame.
Don't leave out paladins ^^

It would just make guilds have to zerg things twice as hard to get the job done.

Ships sailed.

New P99 server is just going to be about 300+ person long line jboots/guise/mana stone camps and an overcrowded raid scene training each other in PoF over Lustrous Russet. Maybe CT will work this time around so people can actually go in and camp rubi though at an appropriate level.

2009 to early 2010 was such a sweet time on this server, besides all the DDOS attacks, because it had the population of RED and it was possible to camp whatever you wanted without much hassle. The raid scene was pretty crowded with just 2-3 guilds fighting over a few targets and just as cut throat as today with petition quest and all kinds of raid rules. No Bards here AE kited back in the day either so get ready to either sit LFG in overcrowded dungeons LFG for hours or hit RNF and moan about bards now that it is so widespread.

In like 3 years it will have been the same amount of time that it took to get from the launch of Velious on live to the launch of P99. Maybe someone else involved in the underground world of EQ emu will start up a server with a small userbase at that time and you will be able to have an actual early EQ experience.

What if they launched it with velious + kunark? That would even out a LOT of dungeons and make all the content available for a fresh server.

Yea, just the original zones aren't enough for a full server....but with kunark + velious there are plenty of places to go to level if a dungeon is crowded.
