Seriously, this is completely outrageous. I was very excited to start playing this game, and join the only EQEmu server that's actually worth playing (due to it being the only one with a IP limit, which makes it the only with an interactive community), but there is one seemingly wholly unnecessary changed that completely ruins the EQ experience: No Maps!

What was the purpose of this? Classic had maps, and Project 1999 was set out to recreate this experience, yes?
As I'm sure most are gettings your fingers warmed up to type, Yes, you CAN look up the maps on your browser and use /loc, but why make this necessary? Is Everquest not already one of the most inconvenient MMOs to play ever? Did you really need to add yet another tab open in my browser that's just mandatory to be able to play the game? This is something I'd really like to hear peoples opinion on. I'm sure if the majority of people agree, it would be something easy to change.
What would be even easier to change, is learn to use loc and either print out the maps or keep a browser tab open, and learn how to travel w/o just following in yer blip on an ingame minmap.

This person was probably the same dipshit who spent two hours whining in Red's /ooc. If they are a troll, then they are extremely dedicated.

It's actually already in the game. GM's just have it disabled unfortunately.

Classic through Velious there were no maps. This server tries to recreate Classic through Velious to the best of its abilities (Most of the time) either have to adjust or gtfo.

In other words

Classic is me printing out maps of all zones.

Instead I have a wiki.
100%. Use a binder. A fat binder.

I lolled. Either...

A) Best troll post ever.
B) Guy never played classic and genuinely believes this.

Learn it well. It has served me very well and I run around in nearly any zone without even checking it to see where I am. You will start to memorize zones give it time.

Does the wiki have a zone-connection map that I was just never able to find?

I know its shameful for me to not have every kunark zone committed to memory like I do everything else, but I never fell in love with Kunark.
